Tell us about yourself? Kia ora, I’m a North Canterbury-based celebrant but happy to travel. Most of my weddings have been relaxed and intimate, from ceremonies held at the groom’s childhood farmstead to Oreti Beach down in Invercargill at sunset. I now live where I grew up. After moving away like most do after school, I moved back when I was hapu to be close to my whanau. I have a two-year-old daughter, Imogen. She’s always full of energy and an absolute water baby too; so we spend a lot of time at the beach, pools and jumping in puddles.
I worked in the aquatics industry for more than 10 years. Such a fun environment where I made lifelong friends I call family. I have an absolute passion for coffee and possibly drink too much of it – I even take my machine away on holiday with me! When meeting new couples I usually always suggest a place that does a good brew.
Tell us about your style? Relaxed, and love when there’s a joke or two thrown into the ceremony.
Best part of any ceremony for you? Watching my couples exchange their vows they’ve written about their love story.
