We make it easy for any couple wanting an intimate and affordable wedding from as little as $1950.

Ashley Chapel Micro Weddings cater for up to 30 people any day of the week, and can include everything a normal wedding does.

We’ve partnered with fellow WWP vendor, the deconsecrated Ashley Community Church, to bring you our Chapel Micro Wedding Package.

Pricing

$1950

The price includes:

– venue hire

– celebrant

– photography (one hour). Can upgrade to 90 minutes.

– Micro Wedding package coordination

(Price does not include marriage licence/certificate.)

By booking our two-hour package, you receive the following:

VENUE: Ashley Community Church, 39 Canterbury Street, Ashley

PHOTOGRAPHER: an available WWP photographer. ( Libby Ellmers Photography; Kirsten Smart Photography; Photoshots. We will organise them for you.)

CELEBRANT: Anna Flanagan, Beth Dunn, or Jane Godfrey . (We will organise them for you.)

CO-ORDINATOR: You will have a dedicated point-of-contact for your micro wedding – Anna Flanagan.

There are also extras you can add in:

CAKE: Twisted Flour & Sugar Merchant – $120

CATERER: Catered Affair will supply a beautiful antipasto platter – $19p/p, and there’s an option of canapés if this is something you’d prefer – $19p/p. They also have a kids’ platter option – $12.50p/p.

FLOWERS: Prime Petals. Tash has plenty of options – a small floral bouquet – $100; boutonnière – $20. Pick up in Christchurch

LIVE SOUND: Jeanz Production can offer live sound options from $250.

The finer details:

VENUE: Ashley Community Church

The Ashley Community Church is a Category 2 Historic Building and began life as the Anglican Church of St Simon and St Jude. When it was sold for demolition in the early 1970s, locals with strong ties to the building and its heritage, salvaged it for interdenominational use by the wider community. An Incorporated Society now manages bookings, maintenance, and restoration work. The church celebrated 150 years in 2021.

PHOTOGRAPHER: A Wedding White Pages photographer

You have two options to choose from:

60 minutes of photos (this option comes with the package)
90 minutes of photos (choose this option from $200 more)

The time for each photography option starts at the ceremony.

You will receive a gallery of images four weeks after your wedding, with a ‘sneak peek’ of five images within two business days.

These celebrants love micro weddings! There’s something so special about inviting your closest friends and family to celebrate your love with you. We do the legal bit first, with a beautiful personalised ceremony, where you can share your own vows (which your celebrant can help with) – then you can get into the celebration straight afterwards! (The price of the celebrant doesn’t include your marriage licence fee of $150)
