Celebrant Kimberley officiates weddings throughout Canterbury but also open to travelling further afield for weddings.

Every love story is unique and every chapter needs an intro. Let Kimberley help write the introduction for the next chapter of your lives. Kimberley gets a kick out of meeting people and hearing their stories. She loves the art of creating a unique ceremony that reflects and celebrates your story and delivering your ceremony with fun, meaning, and aroha.

Tell us about yourself? Kia ora! I’ve been a celebrant for four years and I haven’t yet had a request too big as a celebrant (including impersonations!). I have almost completed my certificate in Celebrant Studies from The Celebrant School, and live with my husband and young daughter. I work with kids as an occupational therapist and, both in this role and as a celebrant, my job is to listen and work with people on the things that are most important to them. I can’t wait to chat to you about your big day!

Tell us about your style? When I’m creating a ceremony, what’s important to me is that it reflects your style, the language you would use, the stories you want to share, the vibe you want to create. We can create a fun lighthearted ceremony while still incorporating those beautiful meaningful moments.

Best part of any ceremony for you? Watching a couples faces as they see each other for the first time and seeing the emotion in their eyes, and how they relax into the ceremony knowing they have their best friend beside them.

Favourite things? I love spending time with my family and exploring the great outdoors, whether that be a walk in the port hills, a tramp deep in the bush or anything on, in our near the water. I can’t wait to travel overseas again and experience the world and all the diversity it has to offer. I am an enthusiastic but complete novice surfer and I dabble in both creative writing and my newest hobby of learning to paint in watercolours.
